Prioritizing Kids and Youth Ministry

At River of Life, we believe the next generation matters deeply. That is why we are intentionally building a strong kids and youth ministry that serves not only children, but the whole family.

We are constantly working hard to train leaders, strengthen our teams, and build a quality, safe, and welcoming ministry for every child who comes through our doors. We have recently renovated our Kids Church space and added new leaders who are committed to helping children grow in their faith.

When you arrive at River of Life, you will find our kids check-in area right near the front door. After checking in, children join their parents in the sanctuary for the music portion of the service. They are then dismissed and escorted by our Kids Church leaders and Safety Team to the Kids Church facility.

Your child’s safety is very important to us. Once Kids Church begins, no one is allowed downstairs unless escorted by a member of our Safety Team. Our Kids Team, Hospitality Team, and Safety Team stay in communication during the service through walkie-talkies so that parents can be quickly notified if their child needs anything.

During Kids Church, children have the opportunity to enjoy games, hear Bible teaching, participate in activities, and take part in special elements such as skits, songs, and other creative moments. At the end of the service, parents pick up their children and sign them out.

Our goal is simple: to create a safe, joyful, and faith-filled environment where children can encounter Jesus, build friendships, and know that they are a valued part of the church family.
