We Are The Church Of God
We are a Church of God, Cleveland, TN church. The Church of God dates back to 1886 and is one of the oldest Pentecostal movements in the country. However, we believe it is important to be on the leading edge of what God is doing currently in the church.
At River of Life you'll find a great mix of honoring what matters most about the pentecostal holiness heritage of our fellowship while looking to the future to reach this generation with the uncompromising truth of God's Word.
What We Believe
We are a Christian Church.
We are Pentecostal.
We believe:
- The Bible is the inspired and perfect Word of God.
- The Trinity. Father, Son, Holy Spirit.
- All have sinned, so we need Jesus, the only Son of God to regenerate and justify us by His blood.
- We are called to be holy.
- The Baptism of the Holy Ghost.
- The gifts of the Spirit including speaking in tongues and healing.
- Water Baptism
- Communion
- The second coming of Jesus Christ.
